Staff and members of the public are at risk of being struck by moving vehicles on site every time that a vehicle is moved, which could be many times in one day. Accidents could be potentially fatal, other consequences could be internal injury, broken limbs, toe traps.
Being struck by a vehicle which has been parked unbraked/unchocked and in gear, and then started up from outside the vehicle, is a common cause of serious/fatal accidents.
