Racking systems used should be properly designed and installed, taking into account what it is to be used for.
This includes being able to safely take the load off the goods being stored. The racking must also be protected if it is likely to be struck by lift trucks and other vehicles. All racking systems must be securely bolted to the ground or supporting wall and stable in structure.
