Leisure Industry : Play Areas

Any activity involving children offers a greater risk and therefore an increased level of management must be introduced. Children's play areas are a great facility if they have been well-designed and well-managed and most importantly are suitable areas for children to play.

Over recent years the provision of play equipment and outside play areas has increased significantly. Unfortunately there has also been an increase in the number of accidents reported in these areas. Children's play areas are an asset if they have been well designed, are well managed and safe and suitable for children.
