Construction : Method Statement

A method statement is closely interlinked with a risk assessment and plays a fundamental part in the management procedures of a company. It provides the basic system for the passing of information to those who will be doing the work.

The purpose of a method statement is to enable contract managers to manage the work, clients to monitor performance/progress and contract workers to carry out their tasks in a safe manner, understand the hazards and risks associated with the work and comply with the controls in place to reduce risk.
