Notice Periods

Minimum Statutory  Notice periods vary depending on the length of service of an employee and any contractual rights.

If an employer fails to give such notice is in breach of contract and the dismissal would amount to wrongful dismissal and the employee can complain to an Employment Tribunal or civil court.
